Born in the heart of Paris, just steps from the Louvre, Virginie Pernot’s artistic path began in the shadow of masterpieces. As a child, she took her first painting lessons surrounded by the echoes of centuries of creativity, nurturing an early and enduring love for colour, form, and emotional expression.

Her life has been a tapestry woven across continents—Japan, Ireland, the UK, and Italy—each place leaving its imprint on her soul and her art. Though painting remained a quiet companion through these years, it was in Milan that her creative flame was reignited by a devoted mentor, guiding her back to the canvas with renewed purpose. Today, she lives and works in Hong Kong, where her practice continues to evolve in dialogue with the vibrant energy of the city.

Virginie is not only a painter but also a trained Gestalt therapist. This dual lens—artistic and psychological—infuses her work with profound emotional depth and insight.
